A big family day

Aziza was busy experiencing new activities this weekend. She was surrounded by her cousins, who are in town, when she went into the pool for the first time ever!

Today was a day filled with visitors. Samir's uncle Hugo was here with his sons Hugo Andreas and Juan Carlos. Tony's niece, Yolla was visiting with her husband and daughter (seen in the picture).

Aziza stayed home with abuelita today. Lisa started her new job at the hospital, and so far it's been a good day for all

Cooler Weather

We've been having cooler weather lately, which, is nice for a change. We even got to wear grandma Debbies' Hat on our walk!

Bottle dilemma...

Some days/nights are good and some are difficult. Today was a mix of both! She and we are learning everyday about what she/we need. I think Justin said it best (as he often does) that parenthood is "like riding a bike if you've never rode one before".


P.S. look at how long she is (she's only 6 weeks old)!!!

Moby

Samir tried out the new Moby wrap last night and it was a success! Aziza fell asleep...now if he can just learn how to tie it! I think he will probably stick with the Bjorn.

On again, Off again!

                                   

ALOT has happened since the last post. We had a major storm that blew down trees and caused major power outages. We were without power for three days and since then it has been on and off many times. So this is what has happened...Aziza now weighs 11.1 lbs and is in the 95% for weight. She is 22.5 inches long and 98% for that length. She has been dubbed the "Moussa Viking" by an anonymous Tia. She has a beautiful hat made by her Grandma Debbie! Today we went to the Botanical Garden and saw some beautiful orchids while escaping the heat.
